The whole app and 3D experience would be a lot better if the screen wasnt off by a bit. When I look into the cardboard, the image I receive is doubled as if I had crossed my eyes.

I could see vr becoming affordable by using a phone.

First experience with VR, Im hooked. Its not the Samsung Gear, but its probably the most bang for your buck. I love Google being the front runner with the new VR movement. 5-stars!

This app seems great but it doesnt work for my phone even when its over iOS 8.0. The app just always goes back to the home screen. I really hope Google will fix this problem :(

Just another way for Google to steal your personal info. Microphone and text messages are being accessed, really?

Fun to use initially, besides the demos, the app seems to function as a launcher. I couldnt figure out how to access the camera to make my own 3d vr panos. Later, I found the spherical camera in Google Streetview app, that wasnt clear to me at first. Google cardboard is cheap , but the assembly isnt that clear, they mustve hired the people from ikea to create the assembly instructions. This type of 3d is more immersive than looking at stereograms, but the viewer is practically identical, still fun to look at.

Everything works but the stupid thing goes to sleep. Just make the app prevent the phone from sleeping. Its an easy fix come on guys.

I decided to try to optimize the app by using the qr code on my viewing goggles. Every time I scan a code, the app crashes and wont open without a reinstall to clear the saved code from the cache. Really wish it was working right.

Google cardboard paired with any inexpensive VR cardboard device creates an immersive experience unlike any other app youve downloaded. I bought the 360fly cardboard VR headset at bestbuy and it worked wonderfully with this product. I scared my siblings with the sisters app, and did a virtual street view tour of my childhood home. The possibilities are endless. I cant wait to see what future apps take advantage of cardboard. The best part is, the button featured on my VR headset works flawlessly, it seems unlikely that it would be compatible since its apple but everything works as advertised. Playing on iPhone 6s Plus.

If you have yet to experience VR and have a compatible device (e.g. iPhone), buy cardboard and get this free app immediately.

I can only use the app for up to a minute or so before my phone starts to go to sleep. I dont know if this is the app or my iPhone, but its SUPER annoying, especially during gameplay!

The app just stays on the screen that says to put my phone in the viewer, and wont leave that screen. Ive tapped screen, rotated phone, but it wont go past that screen. Useless.

Purchased the Cardboard viewer to go with this. Resolution is poor. Some apps (Sports Illustrated) misaligns the pupillary distance so you never get a 3D effect. What 3D there is, even when it works, leaves one cold. This is a proof of concept test that never should have left the lab.

I was super-excited when I installed this. The demo app was a lot of fun. Then I downloaded a VR world for Cardboard and it was utterly ruined by Googles obnoxious ads. They render the system useless. Thanks for nothing, Google!
