The original cardboard camera app was FAR superior to this waste of a download. In the original app, you could take your own stereoscopic panoramic photos which were viewable in the app. Unfortunately, the original app no longer works properly on my phone (the images rapidly spin around when viewed in the stereoscopic mode). I was hoping when I downloaded this version, I would be able to view my panoramic photos that I took with the original app. But to my disappointment, this new version won’t let you view your own photos! What a joke. Who wants to look at random images instead of creating and viewing your own. Do better Google!

I don’t know if this is just a glitch but I only have 1 option of things I can do and it’s literally just like 5 pictures you can look around and but you can’t move or do anything but look it’s actually really bad

This is fun with, and without vr, but it has its flaws. One of its flaws is that it only has 2 things to do, tutorial, and explorer mode. But besides that great game would recommend.

I would rate it higher, but mine has the remote with the headset. So, I have never gotten the remote to even turn on. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have tried almost every brand of AAA batteries and still nothing. It makes it really hard to have to constantly open up the viewer when I need to click on things, such as…. Enter. I wish there was a fix for it, my expectation of getting much assistance is low at this point because I know there will be an excuse on how it cannot be fixed or even replaced. Sorry guys, one star is really squeezing out of my pocket. That is being generous.

how do you play one of the games because im seeing that it has a VR game and VR video.

I don't understand the purpose of this if people can't play games like other VR softwares

Me and my friend got this and she got to connect it to her phone so she can she her photos and apps but idk how to do but I want to do if anyone knows how to do it please let me know

Every time I try to select on one to view it, I can’t. I understand why has such low rates. It is a horrible app. It doesn’t work right my controller refuses to work with it and I can’t select anything to view. overall, I really just don’t like the app. I don’t recommend using it.

Everyone should try Google Cardboard! A true to original *cardboard* viewer with lenses, an elastic head strap, and interaction magnet costs less than a Starbucks®️ Frappuccino. The Cardboard experience will leave a *much* bigger impression than the Frappuccino. There’s always a better headset at a higher price point, but that $0 → $6 jump provides by far the biggest value!

Cool app, but just for presentation to Cardboard VR. Its missing a lot, and by a lot I mean a LOT. But still cool/mid app.

I have a VR headset, but that stuff worked and guess what I was in Nasa when I was using Google CardboardApp

So the question is, is this app good or not? The ratings are so low for this app and I don’t know why. It’s a good app and all but what is its purpose? All it does is shows you demos over and over. The other apps are good too, but there are ads, which I did not think there would be, and also they are slow moving, for example Minforge( which should have a run action). Overall good app but I deleted it after a few days bc I got bored of demos and Mineforge. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day!😇

Downloaded and paired and the display is funky.

My vr is not communicate to my phone to click next. all I can do it turn up or turn down my volume 😖 I was so excited for this and it would not even work. 😩 it is Bluetooth connected so why not work.

Can’t even download apps too

I’m confused as to why I am unable to watch any 360° videos on YouTube, but only dual screen videos that don’t move at all and so it doesn’t feel very interactive. I have an iPhone 14; maybe it’s just me. I just wish that Google Cardboard would work with dual screen videos and allow you to look around. Also, are there really not going to be any more updates? It’s been a year since the last one.

I downloaded apps that are available for cardboard but they are not appearing.. this app is basically useless if I can’t use it for that purpose.

I have an iphone 15 pro and use it and it works just fine. The product is amazing except for the nose part. Mine didn’t come with foam but it is overall okay. You can’t really play games on it, but you can watch videos. It is hard to find vids so I screen record them, and I use my clipchamp video editor and place the video on both sides.

How come they got rid of Cardboard Camera? I love that app they don’t have it anymore. Why did they abandon it?

I just download this game and the only thing that has is tutorial and explore I’ve been stuck on this for a long time

This app does not even work with the books. It is useless left my kids very disappointed.

Its good but every time i open the app i have to turn my ipad around for it to work if i had a phone i would recommend it

It won’t let me get the apps from the library because it says I’m in the version 3.4.0 and I think it needs a huge fix and I mean a big one

I hate how you guys have to make us take our phone out to press the buttons it is so annoying.

It’s not good, when I was younger, I remember there being things like colidiscope and adventure and one where you could plant little flowers around but now it’s just boring and nothing to do

I love this game so much! It’s so cool i would recommend I have no glitches or anything but I didn’t see the reviews before I downloaded it there is such bad reviews and I was surprised since a good app, I have no problems or anything completely fine but I would give it 5 stars but you can’t like walk and actually move forward and stuff now hopefully it’s added in the future. Like on the dinosaur bone area I want to read the things on the signs now this is just something I’m now upset or anything just hope it might happen.

This app used to show beautiful geometric landscapes of the coast and the hills. They took out all of it. It's all gone. Google can't even finish an idea before moving onto the next gimmick.

This is a terrible app. I’m glad it let me load my own viewer up with the QR code, but this app has practically nothing in it. It took me longer to write this review that to make it through the scenes available.

like it and I’m gonna get my VR cardboard tomorrow so but when I tried the demo, how do you download games usually I use a old iPhone and I don’t know how good the VR cardboard would be but I think I’ll like it so then I got this app but then for some reason why don’t it have games? please fix this, Google (from Liam)

I used to love looking at the beautiful poly landscapes and staring at the breathtaking northern lights. But ever since the update, it’s there is no demos and I can’t do that anymore. Pls bring back the demos for old times sake.

I don’t like it I’m barely even like it

this doesn’t work at all the only thing you can do is look at the demo you can’t view anything other than the stupid 4-5 areas they already have on the app. I was told to get this by my professor for class but it doesn’t even work so I can view cities in different parts of the world smh

Once’s I got the evo be headset it made me go on demos and I was stuck there so many times and also they only have one controller like bro why one when you need two and that controller does not work and yes I did batteries but it still doesn’t work wast of time for me man

This app is horrible! They removed all the good stuff and now you can only look at pictures of museums. I used to LOVE this and use it with my cousin all the time, but they removed practically everything and now you have to use other apps for the google cardboard headset. I would rate this 0 stars if I could.
